It was an honor for our parish to host the District II Regional Level of the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival. We had a wonderful showing from the Long Island parishes and our children presented well written essays while speaking very eloquently about our faith. Congratulations to the winners and all the participants for their exceptional work! We are very proud of you all! Thank you to our judges who volunteered their time, Buccaneer Diner for the breakfast platters, the Philoptochos Ladies for preparing and serving a delicious lunch, and all those who helped make today possible.
Finally, a very special thank you to our Oratorical Festival Chairperson, Mrs. Georgia Papathanasiou for her hard work and efforts in organizing and coordinating today’s beautiful event.
