Our HOPE and JOY learned about prayer, specifically the Jesus Prayer (Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me). As we approach the 2nd Sunday of Lent we reflected on the contributions of St. Gregory Palamas on prayer and Orthodoxy. The children made their own prayer boxes to serve as a place to store their prayers. We ended the night with a few fun rounds of musical chairs.
